After twelve years of supreme awesomeness in Basco, our citternista extraordinaire Ale Carr is moving on to pursue music elsewhere. Twelve years is a long time to hang out, and suddenly have to do without someone, musically and personally, and we’re going to miss him! But we’re all agreed it’s for the best, and we wish him the very best of luck with everything he touches in the future.

Basco are now joining forces with the absolutely fabulous Danish cittern player, Villads Hoffmann, and look forward to forging a new chapter in the Basco saga. We know Villads from way back, and are looking forward to seeing where he takes us!
